Work began with a full internal strip out of existing floor finishes, electrical trunking (including power and data points) ready for the proposed works to commence. Upon completion of the strip out, work started on the construction of internal walls, doors (including ironmongery), floor finishes and new mechanical and electrical installations for the upgraded IT benches.
SMD worked to a carefully articulated programme to ensure all tradespeople worked seamlessly, adhering to the allocated time for project completion. The programme was tight and necessary project variations were added to the contractual scope, but SMD was still able to deliver using agile working methods.
