The 5 houses at Wrestlingworth is one of the best managed projects I have seen from start to finish. Right from the start of the project, SMD had complete control of the site and their contractors, with any questions raised by CBC the site team had these items closed out within 1 week. At the start of the project, we had an issue with a waterlogged site, but SMD managed this so there was no delay to the project. SMD is an approved supplier under the Westworks Construction and Development Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), across Categories 1, 2, 3, and 4. This DPS offers a flexible and efficient route for public sector organisations to engage with trusted contractors for a broad range of construction and development services. We’re proud to be working alongside Westworks and its members to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and innovative projects that make a lasting impact in local communities.

SMD is an approved supplier under the South East Consortium (SEC) Construction and Development DPS. The DPS provides a dynamic and flexible way for local authorities to access trusted suppliers for a range of construction and development projects. We are delighted to collaborate with SEC members to deliver innovative, sustainable, and high-quality projects.

We’ve been appointed to LHC’s Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) of New Homes (NH3) Framework. NH3 is designed to help boost the speed of delivery and quantity of homes required to fulfil housing needs across communities in England, Scotland and Wales. We look forward to delivering high-quality modular and offsite homes for the public sector.

SMD has been awarded a place on the Procurement for Housing Residential Construction framework, securing four successful lots across East Anglia, Essex, East Midlands, and Leicestershire, Rutland & Northamptonshire. This milestone reflects our commitment to innovation and excellence in delivering high-quality housing solutions. The collaboration with PfH and Building Better provides an exciting opportunity to leverage traditional and offsite manufacturing (MMC) solutions to drive efficiency, sustainability, and positive outcomes for communities across these regions.
